errant.
tonight in a poem:
I wander to a place of dark verdance: POPULATION 5
objects indistinguishable in the absence of light.
The habitants of this haunt are four park benches and I.
I was a pilgrim but will be a victim.
My mind tilts me backwards like a slow motion avalanche,
as I am a state of only momentum.
When my back connects to the bench,
I bleed out as I breathe out,
the smoke spilling like strange fruit on a crime scene.
I need reconstitution.
I’ll smoke another cigarette
but keep my guts in.
tonight in normal-people jargon:
I'm off to the engineering building again, with a can of red bull in tow, to work on Mathcad homework. In case you didn't know, Mathcad is a piece of software that claims it "drives innovation and offers significant personal and process productivity advantages for product development and engineering design projects." However, its mission statement doesn't mention the gratuitous administration of Advil necessary to learn how to express any mathematical concept, no matter how simple, in its confusing and inept language.
It will be the undoing of my Thursday night.
tonight in Klingon:
Heghlu'meH QaQ jajvam

Excellent use of Klingon, although I don't hold nearly as much spite for Mathcad as the phrase expresses. That is solely reserved for Java.
Below is an example of a typical interaction between me and Java (in Klingon).
Sarah: naDev qaS wanl' ramqu'
Java: ...
Sarah: nuq'neH
Java: ama'pu' vljonta' neH
Sarah: jIyajbe
Java: bljeghbe'chug vaj blHegh

And then the next day.
